Alex is an Emmy-nominated DOCUMENTARY producer-director

Creating powerful character-driven expert-led documentaries.

Alex has created content for the BBC, Channel 4, PBS NOVA, Tangled Bank Studios, Arte and Vice. She has experience shooting in many remote and challenging environments around the world.

Alex has a passion for adventure and science communication. She is driven to create factual documentaries that highlight important stories – in particular, shining a light on those who are doing what they can to push the boundaries of science.

Primarily based in Bristol but with a base in London, Alex is willing to travel anywhere and everywhere to fulfil your project needs.

Alex is also an ardent storyteller.

Her story of a remote Buddhist Monastery was published in the Telegraph Travel section recounting her experience of Dhankar Gompa discovered in Spiti Valley, a beguiling mountain desert valley found in the Indian Himalayas.

Alex owns a trusty red Honda CB500X and some of her adventures have even been put into words - check out this story in Overland Magazine.

She is also an expedition leader and loves taking groups out into the hills and mountains of the British Isles. In 2024 she led a group of young explorers in the Outer Hebrides, travelling north to south over three weeks, with the British Exploring Society.
